The soap and conditioning bar are lovely products – I have always been a little dubious about using a shampoo bar as I had concerns about whether it would lather properly and how to maintain it without it turning into a soggy mess. Neither of these are an issue – The bar brought up a lovely lather, using very little of it and left my hair soft and shiny with no irritation to my scalp. I left the bar as recommended on the safix rest – No soggy mess. I then used the conditioning bar – Again, this is a lovely product and took any tangles out of my hair with a minimum of use and effort. The end result was excellent and from someone who is very fussy about what they use on their hair, I am very happy to recommend both of these products. I also love that there is no plastic and therefore no waste.

In an effort to be both more aware of what chemicals I am using as well as being more environmentally aware , I bought both the shampoo & conditioning bars….LOVE them!
I have a reddish colour in my hair which can fade easily with some shampoos so I was a bit wary of trying something new…but am delighted I did. The bars are so easy to use, my hair is in the best condition it has been for years & beat of all, no colour fade.
Didn’t think I’d ever say this but I won’t be using chemicsl shampoos & conditioners again.

I adore the TLC Shampoo Bar! It’s just such a box-ticker in the first place: Irish, palm free, plastic free, but on top of all that, it’s an excellent shampoo. It smells lovely (like all the palmfree.ie products!) and lathers up beautifully. As if that weren’t enough, it seems to be nice and clarifying. I usually wash my hair every second day, but I seem to be getting a third day out of a wash with this one, creating even less waste & hopefully making my hair even healthier. Love the shampoo and conditioner bars. My favourite since switching to solid about a year ago. (I’ll never go back!) The conditioner leaves my hair, which is long and thick, really easy to manage. And both products last for ages. Love the soap, am equally impressed by the shampoo & conditioner.

I only switched to the TLC shampoo last month. I’ve stopped using any other products in my hair as I don’t feel I need to anymore. I’ve curly hair and they work a treat on it, to me my hair hasn’t been in this good condition and frizz free like forever, so I’m completely converted. Also loving the fact their palm free, it’s nearly impossible to find products, food especially that is palm free!

I can 100% say I will never use another shampoo or conditioning product in my hair ever again! This shampoo bar lathers up immediately, creates a wonderful lather in my hair and rinses so cleanly. Ive been using palm-free for nearly a year now, with the conditioner. I just love it. Its lathers quickly, you dont need much, its palm free, packaging recyclable… whats not to love. Ive highlighted hair and it feels smooth silky and I only wish it smelt like the conditioner.. A little aromatherapy oils maybe like in the conditioner? wont stop me recommending or buying

The first introduction I had to the Palm free range was one of their gorgeous soap bars, I was sold immediately! I then ventured to the Shampoo & Body bars, again, was sold immediately, then they launched the TLC Shampoo Bar and I just feel in love from the first wash. My hair felt hydrated and soft without any nasty residue or over powering perfumed smell. It was gorgeous, and the compliments came fast and furiously. My whole family finished their bottles of shampoo products and converted! Then they launched the TLC Conditioner, oh my hat, my excitement!! That was then and now, we are still using ONLY the TLC Shampoo & Conditioner in our home, and many friends have converted too. I’ll never go back to my previous brand products! Never!
My hair: Highlighted, a naturally thing strand, suffered with ‘blocking the drain’ hair loss (not any more!), slightly greasy scalp yet the conditioner directly applied to the scalp does not trigger greasy hair look or feel.

I absolutely LOVE this shampoo bar and the TLC conditioning bar. My resolution for 2024 is to eliminate plastic waste from my shower routine but I live in a hard water area so I have had trouble in the past with shampoo bars leaving my hair sticky and not feeling clean. This shampoo bar is a game-changer though- it has a gentle lather that leaves my thick wavy hair so soft, shiny and clean without feeling stripped and dried out. The scent is beautiful too. This and the TLC conditioner bar are EXACTLY what I have been looking for: An ethical, cruelty free brand that uses minimal to NO unneccessary packaging with an easy to read and research ingredients list! No harmful or irritating chemicals but they still work beautifully! I was worried these products seemed to good to be true and that the shampoo wouldn’t properly clean my hair and scalp but that is not the case at all. Hair feels squeeky clean after shampooing but not dry and brittle like it tends to after using harsher shampoos. The conditioner glides on easily and leaves my hair feeling smooth, hydrated and tangle-free but not heavy or or greasy. My hair is B2 curly by the way and it can become frizzy AND oily if not properly looked after, but this works a dream. I also love how each bar saves around three plastic shampoo bottles and I can tell they will last for ages. The best thing is that I’m no longer using potentially harmful or mysterious ingredients every time I wash my hair AND I can rest-assured that I’m supporting a super ethical (and Irish!) brand. All that and extremely reasonable prices? Please never stop doing what you’re doing. More and more of us now want to know we’re looking after ourselves and not harming the animals or planet… but many of us also want to look good ????I believe brands like these are the future. Would ye consider bringing out body toothpastes and body lotions? ????
